Tone ring attached

The rim is one. Five layers of blocks, two veneer wraps, and two veneer stripes, all glued and trimmed. Aw yeah.
With a good bit of round-over and chamfer router work it will reach its final shape.
For you grain fanatics out there, yes, the tone ring is upside down.
