WoodCraft Bands

Here's some info on WoodCraft Bands. You can see the products listed there, except I don't see the smooth slicer listed. That blade's about $15, half the price of Highland Woodworking's Wood Slicer product, and rocks my resawing world. They set me up with a 1/2" 3/4 blade (alternating sections of 3tpi/4tpi). It takes a thinner kerf than my general purpose blade and leaves the surface very smooth. I use it to cut out 10-12" diameter circles for rim blocks, no problem. They don't answer email. I would think updating the web site occasionally and answering email would be good for business when times are tough on the small shop, but that's how they roll. Call M-Th and tell them what you want. They're happy to answer questions and give advice if you can tell them what you're cutting and want to know what blade to use. They'll make blades in any length. Don't be stupid like me and order four blades an inch too short. They take credit cards over the phone. There's a minimum order of about $25. You'll have blades in 2-3 days. I hope you like accents.
