    You have a sharp eye! That detail fell out as a result of several design choices, a miscommunicated requirement, and a limitation of the wire program. It just took me a minute to apply my training and declare it a feature, not a bug. It's a touch that happily both differentiates from Romero's original and makes the bracket somewhat resemble a musical note.
