Drilling the tension hoop

In order to drill holes to make an awesome brass tension hoop like Jason Romero's, I snapped together this flimsy stand and bolted it to the drill press with bolts and wing nuts. Sixteen holes later, I wish I'd made a stronger stand and made better use of my calipers. (I thought of a better way in the bathroom afterward, to which my lovely wife remarked, "You should've went to the bathroom a few hours ago.")
