Anything more would be dangerous, so it's time for the scraper. Mmmm.

    My favorite shavings are the fancy ones--curls with pinstripes. I'm sure our own Fancy Nancy would agree.

    Yeah, I like those pinstripe shavings quite a bit. They are paying me some kindness for all the trouble of gluing up a neck from seven pieces of material.

    I just realized the neck is too chunky, so it will go back on the block next time to generate a fresh pile of shavings.
