Fretwork is imminent

Nothing imparts the feeling of progress like taking a rectangular cross section of wood and making it partly round, unless it's trimming back rough cut pieces and revealing tight pinstripes. In my case, I did both in one day. Delicious.

To set things up to trim frets flush, I wanted to trim the neck to the fretboard binding while keeping the bottom flat. In the lineup were the bandsaw, spokeshave, cabinet scraper, and Dragon rasp, and bench plane sanding behemoth. I didn't get hurt, I didn't destroy any work, and I enjoyed myself. Does it get better than that? Unlikely.

Did anyone actually pray? Because that glue line I was concerned about looks fine.
